After reading the back cover convinced me and bought it. I added it to the collection of books I have at home unread, and then forgot it.
With Goya Award nominations, Pa Negre cited again and again. And in the Gala was the most awards, nine Goya awards, among which are Goya for best film, best director, best adapted screenplay, for best supporting actress and best actor and actress.

The novel is dramatic, because the characters are adults dragged their lives without dignity, seeking their own survival as paramount. The novel is beautifully told, with a restrained narrative, which reflects those conversations interrupted, such half-truths, these great secrets.
On the top floor of the farmhouse is the good china, which is only used when it comes to eating masters. And the house is inhabited by ghosts who walk at night, and, possibly, humans are far more than you think children and the grandmother tells.
